Microchurch
Microchurch embodies what we believe to be the essential elements of being the Church; a community centered on prayer, Scripture, and mission. When we commit ourselves to practicing the essentials in everyday settings, we create an environment in which we learn to follow Jesus in everyday settings.
Each microchurch will select a liturgy guide from the following list.
7 Weeks
Essentials
Microchurch Essentials is meant to orient (and reorient) a community to our mission as the scattered Church and sent people of God. Each week, we will utilize the prayer liturgy with a few additional elements to guide the conversation. The additional elements will introduce the main idea and practice of enacting the Gospel daily.
12 Weeks
Journey of Jesus
“Journey of Jesus” examines 12 stories that follow the life and ministry of Jesus and is for people interested in discovering what Jesus has to say about life, love, and purpose. This curriculum is ideal for those who are exploring faith, are new to the faith, or questioning whether they really believe in Jesus.
52 Weeks
Gospel of John
The Gospel of John is one of the earliest accounts of the life and ministry of Jesus. The book embodies the eyewitness testimony and has a clear purpose in mind. The author John writes in chapter 20 v. 31 that he wrote the book “so that you may come to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, and that by believing, you may have life in his name."
36 Weeks
Following Jesus
"Following Jesus" is designed around nine spiritual practices that have historically shaped the Church. Four weeks are devoted to each practice as participants seek to learn more about it through the lens of selected passages. This curriculum is also designed to help individuals apply each practice in a group setting, thereby spurring one another toward Christ.
